He has helped companies design and implement technology platforms from scratch, as well as part of digital transformation and modernization, and navigate large-scale ERP, data, digital, and operating model transformations. His work centers on delivering technology products that fit client needs.
Jorge also has extensive experience migrating from legacy data warehouses or business intelligence platforms to modern data platforms, such as Lakehouses or data meshes, understanding business rules and providing expertise with AI capabilities to deliver real solutions.
Before joining Cuesta, Jorge built a career as a technical lead and data architect, focusing on cloud-based data implementations, driven by a passion for technology and a desire to help organizations achieve their goals. At Cuesta, he thrives in an environment that encourages collaboration and client engagement, hands-on delivery, and genuine partnership.
Jorge lives in Bogotá, Colombia, with his wife and his son. In his free time, he used to travel around Colombia with his family, and when family duties allow, he creates content for his YouTube channel about flight and simulation.
