Andres’s academic background includes advanced studies in Artificial Intelligence, Bioinformatics, and Biotechnology. His early research in computational biology and applied machine learning sparked a broader interest in using AI to solve complex challenges across industries.
Before his current role, Andres has spent more than 6 years developing and deploying AI solutions across startups and global clients, leading projects such as large-scale video and audio analysis pipelines, intelligent virtual assistants serving tens of thousands of users, and document automation platforms that cut costs by more than 90%. His leadership in AI innovation was recognized by the U.S. Department of State, which named him one of the Young Leaders of the Americas.
Based in Medellín, Colombia, Andres enjoys staying active in his free time. He has been a tennis player since childhood, and continues to practice the sport regularly, alongside his interests in exploring new AI tools and sharing knowledge with others.
