Roberto worked in the banking industry, where he collaborated with correspondent banks and financial institutions across the United States, Mexico, Peru, and additional markets in Latin America, Europe, and Asia. He contributed to the management and growth of an international asset portfolio while supporting liquidity management and funding strategies across multiple currencies and jurisdictions. His work required close coordination with treasury, product, and compliance teams as well as external financial institutions.
During his MBA, Roberto worked on consulting and strategy projects across industries, including biotechnology, banking, charities and public services. These engagements strengthened his ability to evaluate business fundamentals, assess sector dynamics, and identify drivers of sustainable value creation.
He joined Cuesta to further develop his exposure to complex business challenges and to apply his financial and analytical background to help organizations leverage data and technology to make informed decisions and unlock measurable business value.
Roberto resides in Bogota, Colombia. Outside of work, he enjoys sports, music, travelling, and staying active through American football, karate, basketball, and football.
