Shayna Welton

Shayna is a passionate HR professional skilled in enhancing employee experiences and optimizing HR operations globally. She focuses on finding harmony between organizational and employee needs.

She has experience in various industries, ranging from cybersecurity and government contracting to scaling startups, where she has managed HR operations. Shayna is well-versed in developing people programs from the ground up, helping scale organizations with her expertise in employee relations, engagement, manager coaching, and policy compliance.

Shayna has successfully implemented strategies that enhance the entire employee lifecycle, streamline HR practices, and develop comprehensive people programs that increase employee satisfaction and productivity. She also serves as an Ambassador for HR Advisory, a community that provides HR leaders with access to an expansive network of professionals, exclusive content, and resources. Additionally, she has held several board member roles in her local SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) chapter.

Shayna is thrilled to join Cuesta Partners as HR Director, where she will contribute to cultivating a positive, diverse, and inclusive work environment that aligns with Cuesta’s strategic goals. She is dedicated to building meaningful relationships in the workplace to drive overall organizational success.

Shayna lives in Colorado Springs, CO, with her husband and two dogs. They enjoy exploring the outdoors through camping, hiking, and snow skiing. Shayna also enjoys volunteering, reading thrillers, and listening to the latest HR podcasts.
